The Parker Family 2019

The Parker Family Update - 2019

Life is just trucking right along.  Our family has grown by leaps and bounds.  Richard and I are home by ourselves now as our youngest son, Kai left home almost 2 years ago to live on his own.  He is enjoying life to the fullest living out of his car and just traveling the country climbing rocks and mountains.  It really is a parents worst nightmare as you no doubt are scared to death for them but at the same time could not be prouder. He touches in with me about once a week and I cherish every time I hear his voice.  We will meet up with him this winter to ski our favorite ski hole - Whistler, Canada.

We now have a total of 8 grand babies! For those of you who do not know Kiana and Ryan had a new baby boy this past July.

Bebe and Popi could not be any more excited to welcoming this new little bundle into our family! <3 nbsp="" p="">
Jackson is doing great in school and loving being a big brother.  He loves to come to Bebe and Popi's "Big House" as he calls it and when he comes over he loves to run upstairs.  We have yet to figure out what he is so intrigued with up there as its a ghost town ..We tend to live only in the bottom of our house with all the kids gone. lol. Ryan is back to winning all his football games...Foster High School is so lucky to have him as a coach.  As much as I secretly root for my own team to loose (haha drill team directors do not like to go into playoffs - just a fact!) I send all my positive vibes over to my son in laws team!! Go Foster!  Kiana is back to work as a Nurse Practitioner at Methodist where she is on a lung transplant team. I am very proud of the beautiful mom she has become and very proud of her desire to maintain a career.  She juggles them both like pro.

Charles and Blair are both busy with their jobs. Charles has taken on teaching high school in the same district Ryan coaches in - so they are neighboring schools. He is really loving his career move and I am so happy he has found something he is passionate about. He is at Lamar Consolidated teaching several preps a day. When he is not teaching you will find him supporting his teams - both the Texans and his college team, Nebraska.  Blair took a big step this past month in branching out on her own with her law practice. We are so excited for her and can not wait to see how your business takes off.  If you need a good attorney - look her up. She is practicing family law exclusively.

Kila and John are busy with their jobs and their kiddos.  Can not believe John is now is middle school and playing in the band, Kennedy is into to everything - she loves singing dancing and acting and has just started gymnastics, Kairi is still in her brownie troupe and also taking gymnastics (and she is quite the little reader) Kilani is always trying to do whatever the big kids are doing and she lets you know when she is excluded - she gets quite upset.  They are getting so big and I fear to say its not going to be long at all that we will have them entering high school.  Kila is still loving her workouts and has taken up Yoga, while she continues to do her online teaching with VIP Kids - she has moved up the ladder with their company and is not training the teachers and writing curriculum.  John is still with his construction company and working hard to keep up with the family. They keep him on his toes for sure.

Raymond and Mariesa are finally back under one roof - as Raymond has been deployed for the past year.  So so very happy to have him back on US soil :) The girls are growing so fast and we hate that we live so far away that we do not get to see them often.  I am hearing that Isabelle has taken a fancy to ballet and dance - must be taking after her Bebe! ;) Erika has already turned one and we have yet to get to meet this little angel.   We are hoping to get to make a trip up to Idaho in the next couple of months.  They are also both working parents who are doing a great job juggling work and parenthood!

Times when we can all be together are far and few between, but I have a feeling one is over due and would love to see it happen in the near future.  I think a Parker Family Reunion shall need to be planned soon.
Love our family as it continues to grow! <3 nbsp="" p="">

Part 3 - Greece
June 11 - 29, 2019 - Trip Canada, Ireland & Greece

Our last leg of our trip was added so that we could see our very good friends Sam and Jane Hooi. When we found out they would not be in Wales while we were visiting Ireland we went ahead and grabbed airline tickets to meet them in Parga, Greece.  Not to say I was bummed that we had to go back to Greece! (Parga, Greece is my absolute favorite!!!) But there was no way I was going all the way over the pound and not see these two.  It was a shorter trip than what we had wanted but we still got to spend 4 great days with our friends.
